The Feedlot Lamb Pellets are a high energy and specific protein feed for fattening lambs in a feedlot situation.
Feedlot Lamb Pellets are manufactured in a 4.7mm pellet which increases intake and also results in pellets flowing more freely through self feeds. However care must be taken when feeding in this manner as intake must be controlled when introducing high starch feeds.
Feedlot Lamb Pellets contain a rumen buffer to assist in the prevention of rumen upsets and acidosis along with a rumen modifier (Bovatec ®) to increase live weight gains and feed conversion efficiency while also aiding in the reduction in the faecal shedding of coccidia Eimeria spp.
Feedlot Lamb Pellets are not a complete feed and require hay to be fed alongside them.
INGREDIENTS SELECTED FROM:
Cereal Grains and Products (Barley, Wheat, Bran & Pollard), Canola Meal, Lupins, Limestone, Rumen Buffer, Salt, Bovatec® Mineral and Vitamin Premix.
FEED RATE/RECOMMENDED FEEDING:
Animals should be introduced to this feed gradually over a 14-day period. Begin by feeding small controlled amounts at 0.2% of bodyweight/head/day increasing slowing until lambs consume approximately 2% of their body weight in pellets with the remainder being quality hay. These pellets are designed to be fed for 6-8 weeks to lambs leading up to slaughter. Livestock should always have access to fresh, clean drinking water.

This product contains lasalocid (32mg/kg). DO NOT feed to dogs, horses or other equids. It may be fatal to these species. This product CANNOT be fed to ewes that are producing milk or milk products for human consumption. This product does not contain restricted animal material.

Nil
STORAGE:
Store in a cool, dry, shaded environment, off the ground to prevent mould and infestations. Remove plastic wrap from bagged product when delivered for better storage life.
EXPIRY:
Use within 6 months of date of manufacture.
