The 20% Calf Pellets are a high protein, high energy supplement to be fed to calves from 0-3 months of age. These pellets need to be fed with quality hay and they do not replace milk for the pre-weaned calf.
The balanced vitamins and minerals along with quality ingredients in these pellets ensure calves have a great start in life and assist them to reach their genetic potential for trading or joining.
This highly palatable feed also contains Rumensin® (monensin sodium) as an aid in the prevention of coccidiosis caused by Eimeria zuernii and Eimeria bovis.
The inclusion of Rumensin® and Acid Buf® enhances growth and performance in beef and dairy calves.
INGREDIENTS SELECTED FROM:
Cereal Grains and Products (Barley, Wheat, Bran & Pollard), Canola Meal, Lupins, Limestone, Rumen Buffer (Acid Buf®), Salt, Rumensin® (Monensin sodium), Mineral and Vitamin Premix (containing copper).
FEED RATE/RECOMMENDED FEEDING:
Introduce animals to this feed slowly in the first week; ensuring pellets are always kept fresh, after which free access can be given.
This pellet is not a complete feed and does not replace milk or milk-replacer in the pre-weaned calf. If changing animals from Quayle Milling 22% Calf Pellets, gradually transition by mixing 20% Calf pellets 25:75, 50:50 and 75:25 with existing pellets over the course of a week.
Livestock should always have access to fresh, clean drinking water.

This product contains monensin (40mg/kg). DO NOT feed to dogs, horses or other equids. It may be fatal to these species.
This product does not contain restricted animal material.

STORAGE:
Store in a cool, dry, shaded environment, off the ground to prevent mould and infestations. Remove plastic wrap from bagged product when delivered for better storage life.
EXPIRY:
Use within 6 months of date of manufacture.
